The redesign that led to the GEL-NIMBUS™ 27 in Australia features an upper that is more breathable and lighter, for enhanced comfort. We cut weight from the midsole, while retaining the cushioning for which the shoe is famous, as well as keeping the same drop.

GEL-NIMBUS™ 27 shoe vs. other ASICS running shoes

Every running shoe has unique properties that makes it the correct fit for different runners. For example, the NOVABLAST™ model has unique geometrics that offer an energized run, compared to the GEL-NIMBUS™ shoe and its incorporation of ASICS PureGEL™ for a softer, cushioned and more comfortable run.
