Your role in our shared journey

Located at our EMEA headquarters in Hoofddorp, near Amsterdam, you will join our Commercial team as Sales Manager for Foot Locker, one of ASICS' most strategically important SportStyle partnerships across Europe. Responsible for the Foot Locker EMEA & UK business, you will act as the commercial lead for a high-growth account that sits at the heart of ASICS' ambitions within the SportStyle market. Operating at the intersection of Sales, Category, Marketing, Planning, Finance, Operations and Trade Marketing, you will own the commercial strategy, account development and long-term partnership with Foot Locker. This role combines strategic thinking with hands-on commercial leadership and offers the opportunity to shape the future of one of Europe's most important sports retail relationships. The duration of this contract is 1 year and is a maternity leave cover.

Your key responsibilities will be:

• Develop and execute the commercial strategy for the Foot Locker EMEA & UK business.

• Build and maintain senior-level relationships with Foot Locker stakeholders.

• Lead seasonal sell-in meetings, assortment planning, forecasting and go-to-market execution.

• Own account forecasting, business planning and performance analysis.

• Lead the Foot Locker account team (1 direct report) and the broader cross-functional stakeholders.

• Monitor sell-out performance and identify commercial opportunities.

• Monitor competitor activities, market trends and customer developments.
  

You have the following skills and experience:

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Sports Economics, International Management, Marketing, Sales or related field.

• 10+ years of relevant commercial experience.

• Proven track record managing major strategic retail accounts.

• Strong understanding of SportStyle, fashion and lifestyle marketplaces.

• Experience building long-term strategic business plans.

• Strong people leadership capabilities.

• Advanced negotiation and influencing skills.

• Strong commercial, analytical and financial planning skills.

• Experience within international matrix organisations.

• Excellent communication, presentation and storytelling skills; fluency in written and spoken English.

• Strong planning and project management skills.

• Proactive, resilient and solutions-oriented mindset.

Nice-to-haves:

• Direct Foot Locker account experience.

• EMEA strategic account management experience.

• Additional European language skills (Dutch is a preference)
