Collaboratively designed by Sneaker Politics, this GEL-LYTE® III OG sneaker recruits inspiration from its founder, Derek Curry's time spent in the Army. The core design philosophy for this project stems from his unit's motto, "Toujours Prêt"—meaning, "Always Ready."

Its traditional materials are modified with canvas underlays, which are symbolic of the army bags new recruits are given before they head off to training. Neoprene details with an American flag pattern are revealed on the toebox, while an embossed Politics "P" emblem appears on the heel.

These shoes come equipped with three interchangeable patches that represent a military member's uniform. Additionally, the sockliner is inscribed with the words, "thank you" while the date embroidered on the toe signifies Sneaker Politics' opening date.
