The GEL-NIMBUS™ 28 is approximately 20g lighter than its predecessor, the GEL-NIMBUS™ 27, thanks to strategic material and design enhancements—such as the redesigned HYBRID ASICSGRIP™ outsole, which delivers unparalleled traction and durability with a lighter feel.
Runners upgrading from the GEL-NIMBUS™ 27 shoe will also notice the GEL-NIMBUS™ 28 has an updated engineered knit upper, which delivers more breathability for all-around comfort especially during those long runs, and a new tongue loop that makes the shoe easier to slip on and get going.
Lastly, the GEL-NIMBUS ™ 28 shoe features a streamlined heel and pull-tab design that helps reduce overall weight allowing you to pick up the pace easier than before.
