Weight and Fit
One of the most noticeable changes is the weight. The SUPERBLAST™ 3 weighs in at 239g, making it lighter than the 249g of the SUPERBLAST™ 2. This reduction in weight contributes to a more agile feel, allowing for quicker transitions and greater efficiency during your runs.
Total Stack Height
The total stack height of the SUPERBLAST™ 3 ranges from 38.5mm to 46.5mm, compared to 37mm to 45mm in the previous model. This increased height enhances cushioning, providing a softer landing and a more responsive ride—perfect for both long-distance and speed workouts.
Midsole Technology
The midsole technology has also seen significant upgrades. The SUPERBLAST™ 3 features a combination of FF LEAP™ and FF BLAST™ PLUS, offering superior energy return and cushioning. In contrast, the SUPERBLAST™ 2 utilised FF TURBO™ PLUS and FF BLAST™ PLUS. The new combination in the SUPERBLAST™ 3 aims to create an even more dynamic response while maintaining plush comfort.
Upper Construction
Both models use engineered woven uppers, but the SUPERBLAST™ 3’s upper has been optimised for breathability and support. This improvement ensures a snug fit that adapts to your foot's movements, allowing for maximum comfort during your runs.
Outsole Performance
The outsole of the SUPERBLAST™ 3 features FF ASICSGRIP™ and RF: AHAR™ LO, enhancing traction and durability on various surfaces. This is an upgrade from the SUPERBLAST™ 2’s FF ASICSGRIP™, ensuring that the new model provides even better grip, especially in wet conditions.
