Your role in our shared journey
Located at our EMEA headquarters in Hoofddorp, near Amsterdam, you'll contribute to our mission by managing a dedicated portfolio of accounts and serving as the primary point of contact for customer invoice-related matters. In this role, you'll ensure effective credit control by monitoring overdue debtors, managing collection risks, and maintaining strong relationships with customers whilst driving continuous process improvements across the Northwest region.
Your role will be instrumental in weaving the fabric of our movement, bringing unique perspectives and driving innovation with every step.
Your key responsibilities will be:
- Monitor overdue debtors and manage significant collection risk issues to ensure timely payment recovery.
- Connect with customers regarding outstanding receivable balances and submit payment requests as required.
- Pro-actively report and discuss receivables and overdue positions on a (bi-)weekly basis with relevant Commercial Teams.
- Discuss and prepare payment plans in line with ASICS EMEA policies.
- Compile payments and handle allocation issues satisfactorily by working closely with the Cash Application Team.
- Execute month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing activities for the Northwest region.
- Participate proactively in all process improvements projects and bring new ideas to the table.
You have the following skills:
- 2-4 years of relevant experience in a similar credit control position.
- Excellent English language proficiency. Proficiency in Swedish, Danish, or Norwegian would be an advantage.
- Strong verbal and written communication and negotiation skills.
- Qualification in Business Administration or a comparable qualification.
