About NIMBUS MIRAIā¢
In Japanese, the word āMIRAIā translates as future, reflecting ASICSā commitment to making a positive impact on future generations of runners, paying them a kindness in advance.
Designed with recycling in mind, the NIMBUS MIRAIā¢ running shoe is launching with a new returns programme, encouraging runners to give back the shoes at the end of their usable life so that their materials can be recycled and made into new shoes.
The NIMBUS MIRAIā¢ shoe is produced with an upper made from uniform polyester material, of which approximately 80% is recyclable. The FF BLASTā¢ PLUS ECO foam in the shoeās midsole has been created from approximately 24% renewable sources such as leftovers from sugar cane processing.
The deconstructed NIMBUS MIRAIā¢ will go through recycling process at TerraCycleĀ® - our partner for the project - before they come back as raw materials for us to use again.
How does it work?

Then return your NIMBUS MIRAIā¢ shoes for recycling in the store where you purchased them from.
