Your role in our shared journey
As Store Supervisor, you’ll team up with store management to help our new, soon to open, ASICS Flagship Sandton City Store, to meet and exceed its sales targets.
 
You’ll become a shining example of how to build and maintain customer relationships while maintaining the highest brand standards in selling, product presentation, and merchandising. You’ll ensure that everyday tasks are completed diligently while influencing the processes behind them. And with your guidance in product, people, and service planning, our store and its Sales Associates will become a model for the ASICS retail experience.
 
We’re looking for someone to inspire our in-store teams to achieve excellence and understand the retail experience. Someone who is willing to step up and make key decisions in the absence of the Store Manager and Assistant Store Manager and really make a difference.

We are looking to hire two Supervisors to our ASICS Sandton Store. 

As this is for a store about to open – the ideal start date is 1st of August to be part of the process up until opening 1st of September.

Your key responsibilities will be:
Based at our ASICS Flagship Sandton City Store and reporting to the Store Manager, you’ll:

• Lead by example in building and maintaining customer relationships and carrying out everyday tasks.

• Ensure all cash handling is accurate and checkout experiences are optimised.

• Support Store Associates on merchandising, presentation, and promotional activity standards and ensure that all retail-related tasks are completed in good time.

• Liaise with store management to improve product flow processes.

• Manage back-of-house operations and share store cleaning duties where required.

You have the following skills and experience:

• 2+ years of work experience working in a retail environment. 

• Availability to occasionally work outside store opening times.

• Customer centric mindset.

• Team player.

• Eager to learn and grow in the organization.
